The Pin set is officially out (and thus, showing up on Ebay) 🙂 You may remember it due to the announcement a while back.
It’s even up about 2 weeks early 🙂
(Also, if you didn’t notice, photos were added of the Pirate and Cars outfits in the last update!)
Finally, the FAQ has been updated a bit <3
As expected, some of the new outfits for Duffy have come out 🙂 There are no pictures yet, but They are appearing in stores in the parks! We’ll be sure to edit this as soon as pictures pop up <3 Photos have been added below as promised 🙂

…yes, we do have new temporary headers. They may stay, they may not, but their job was to replace the plain pink rectangle.
We’ve also added a new FAQ question.
It’s unknown when or where these will start popping up (other than most likely in Disney World and Disney Land at the least), but Duffy’s Official Facebook page updated a few hours ago with a picture of something new:
It’s not just a cup for drinking though–in fact, it’s a food cup 🙂 And the facebook page even suggests ice cream for it!
There were little rumors and things about possibly having little Duffy-related carts like in Japan–maybe this is the start? I wonder what kind of flavor an ice cream that is Duffy themed would be…

Thanks to melissa8163 from the Micechat and Oprah Forums, we now have some pictures:
It looks like a normal Duffy besides the bow and the white Mickey head that is glued on the bow. It is not the ribbon originally thought to be the ribbon on the bear. If it is available, it should be through the Florist, otherwise the bow is essentially the exclusiveness to the Duffy from the show. It is unknown if that Mickey head bead would come with the bow or not.
Also, as mentioned here, a Pirate outfit is coming out for Duffy sometime soon. With news about all the new Pirates of the Caribbean stuff coming out, maybe we can look forward to seeing that soon 🙂

Edit 2: As for the bead, it is part of a bracelet (you could take it apart) and you most likely can also find it in Downtown Disney at some of the bracelet making stations:
So the only thing special about the Oprah Bear, besides the removeable ribbon and bead being present (the bead may be glued to the ribbon as previously mentioned, but the ribbon can be removed from the bear and that’s what the bead is attached to) ahead of time so you won’t have to go into the trouble of getting your Duffy one just like it, is just the fact that it was gotten from the Oprah show.

I already mentioned clothes, but one thing I’ve seen some people mention is how they’d like to have somewhere for their Duffy rather than on their beds or couch. If you remember my post about outfits from Build-a-Bear, you may know already that Build-a-Bear also has furniture and some big accessories. Some examples:
Yes, that is a car for your Duffy. Obviously, it doesn’t actually move (Though, I’m sure you could always go to a hobby shop or something and see if you can make your own that does move.)
If you’re not too big on all the logos on the Build a Bear stuff though and have money to spare, you may want to look into another good fit–American Girl Doll Furniture. Being pretty much as big as the bears, a lot of the stuff can look quite nice with your Duffy. They also have some nice foot sets. Some previews:
Note: I’d expect at least some chairs to be on the small side.
Of course, you can always try making your own or even being creative–for example, here are some fancy folding boxes for sale:

Even some of the most simple projects could make some neat things to make your own little areas and backdrops for Duffy:
So, keep an open mind and you’ll find all kinds of things to make a perfect little exploration inside when your Duffy can’t go out 🙂

Also, to hopefully come this weekend: The new (and actual) header (YAY! No more temporary one!) and possibly an update to the background 🙂 Because of these upcoming changes, we have set up the Graphic Log which will keep all of our old graphics used on the site <3
So, the Oprah Winfrey show aired today and luckily, the Disney thing was pretty early on. The Duffy came in a special Disney gift bag for everyone in the audience. As far as I can tell, it looks like a normal Duffy, just with a red ribbon with mickey mouse heads on it around Duffy’s neck, like the one on the basket. These were the best pictures I could get off a Youtube Video (it’s better than what I got off my TV):
If better pictures pop up, I’ll be sure to edit them into this post 🙂 But yes, it seems like it’s nothing limited to the show (unless you want it to say you got it). If the ribbon is available otherwise, it may be available through a gift wrapping service or maybe the Disney Florist. If it isn’t any different, the main thing to a collector would be that it came from The Oprah Show, if anything.
Edit: Ribbon is available from Disney Florist as expected: Proved not to be the same ribbon. Looking will continue to see if there is a similar one.
The ribbon was most likely tied on separately and is not attached.
